In Memory

Of those who are no longer with us from the events of 9/11/01.

As a Marsh McClennan employee at the time, I personally knew several people who died in the World Trade Center. Let us never forget.

I was discussing this with my son last night. He was having a ceremony at school today, and I think it was kind of moving to him when I told him the story of my marketing colleagues who ran down the steps after the first plane hit to get out of the building. It is still troubling to me, and I still don't like to go to lower Manhattan to this day, although I did ride the subway through the station that was opened at the old trade center site earlier this year. Pretty moving, like being amongst ghosts! I know many of us have memories of meetings in the trade centers, friends to remember, etc that make this awful thing all to real. It is good to remember and honor these fallen heroes. Still makes me feel sick!
